Terms and Conditions

Sagonaska Appliance Repair · Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to appliance repair services provided by Sagonaska Appliance Repair in Belleville and the surrounding townships. Booking a visit means you accept them.

1. Bookings and arrival windows

When you book, we give an arrival window rather than an exact minute, because a job before yours can run long. If the technician is delayed we call ahead. Someone aged 18 or over must be home for the whole visit, and the appliance needs to be accessible.

2. Diagnosis, quotes and approval

The technician diagnoses the appliance on site and gives you a price before any work begins. Nothing is repaired or replaced until you approve that price. Go ahead with the repair and the service call and the diagnosis are included at no extra charge.

3. If you decide not to repair

You are free to decline after the diagnosis. In that case a diagnostic fee applies, and the amount is told to you on the phone before the visit is booked, never added afterwards.

4. Payment

Payment is due once the repair is complete and you have seen the appliance working. We accept card and e-transfer, and you receive an itemised invoice with the warranty printed on it.

5. Parts availability

Common parts travel with our technicians, so most jobs finish on the first visit. Where a part has to be ordered, you get the cost and the expected date before committing. If a part is discontinued or only available at an unreasonable cost, we say so plainly and you pay only the diagnostic fee.

6. Warranty on our work

Repairs carry a 90-day warranty on parts and labour, set out in full on our Warranty page. It covers the work we did and the parts we supplied. Repairs or parts provided by anyone else are not covered, and we cannot reimburse work carried out by another company.

7. What we are not responsible for

  • Appliances used commercially rather than in a private home
  • Faults that already existed elsewhere in the appliance at the time of our visit
  • Damage from misuse, tampering, accidents, fire, flood, freezing or power surges
  • Improper installation or modifications carried out by others
  • Cosmetic marks, cabinetry, flooring or decorating work around the appliance
  • Consumables such as filters, bulbs and fuses
  • Food spoiled as a result of an appliance or power failure
  • Work required to bring wiring, plumbing or venting up to current code

8. Technician safety

Our technicians can decline to work in a home where animals, pests, unsafe access or unsanitary conditions make the job unsafe. If that happens we explain why on the spot, and the diagnostic fee may still apply.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, including pricing. The current version always appears on this page with the date it was last changed, and the terms that apply to your job are the ones published on the day you booked.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. Together with our Warranty, Cancellation and Privacy pages, they form the whole agreement between you and Sagonaska Appliance Repair.
